To register an individual on eFiling in South Africa, follow these steps:
- Visit the South African Revenue Service (SARS) eFiling website at https://www.sarsefiling.co.za/
- Click on the "Register" button on the homepage.
- Choose the "Individual" option as your taxpayer type.
- Fill in the registration form with your personal details, including your full name, identity number, email address, and contact information.
- Create a unique username and password to secure your eFiling account.
- Verify your email address by clicking on the link sent to you in an email from SARS.
- Complete the remaining steps of the registration process, including entering your bank details for electronic payments and answering security questions.
- Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation email from SARS.
Log in to your eFiling account to access your tax information, submit returns, and view any tax-related correspondence.
